That is the word that may best describe Evan Lysacek, and his winning the Olympic GOLD medal in men's figure skating. Evan defeated Plushenko, the defending champion and odds on favorite to win. While many believed Plushenko was unbeatable; Evan was determined, he was focused and he worked hard and trained harder.
